·         Always: siempre.

·         Usually: usualmente.

·         Normally: normalmente.

·         Often: seguido o a menudo.

·         Sometimes: algunas veces.

·         Rarely: rara vez, pocas veces o raramente.

·         Never: nunca.

CÓMO USAR WHICH Y WHAT PARA FORMAR PREGUNTAS EN INGLÉS

Si no estás seguro si usar which o what, usa what y probablemente tendrás razón.

USED TO

STRUCTURE (ESTRUCTURA)

1. Affirmative Sentences (Frases afirmativas)

Sujeto + “used to” + verbo…

Ejemplos:

·         He used to smoke a pack of cigarettes a day, but he quit last year.

2. Negative Sentences (Frases negativas)

Sujeto + “didn’t” + “use to” + verbo…

·         Ejemplo:
I didn’t use to like mushrooms, but now I do

3. Interrogative Sentences (Frases interrogativas)

Did + sujeto + “use to” + verbo…?

Ejemplo:

Didn’t he use to smoke a lot?

(Él fumaba mucho antes, ¿no?)

Ejemplos:

TO BE USED TO(ESTAR ACOSTUMBRADO A)

Por ejemplo, If I became a princess, I would quit my job (Si llegara a ser una princesa, dejaría mi trabajo).

Por ejemplo, If I had time, I would go swimming every day (Si tuviera tiempo, iría a nadar cada día).

Para dar consejos

Podemos utilizar el second conditional, con la expresión If I were you, para dar consejos. Por ejemplo, If I were you, I would accept this job (Si yo fuese tú, aceptaría este empleo).

Estructura:

Sujeto + would + verbo en infinitivo sin el to

Cláusula con if

Estructura:

If + sujeto + verbo en pasado simple
